"Act according to your principles, not your mood."

For far too long, philosophy has been disrespected, defiled, and distorted by the putrid, vile, cancerous spirit that is academic philosophy. Atrophied muscles, soft and flabby skin, drooping eyes, sagging stomachs, crossed legs, and a general sense of sterility and inaction. Philosophy is not words on a page; it is lived and embodied with every breath, every movement, every demonstration of the will through the perception of representation. Judge a man first by his body, secondly by his actions, and thirdly by his words. The one link we have with objective reality is our body, our sensation through perception, let us not waste this, let us not forsake the physical for the intellectual, let us remember that philosophy is lived, philosophy is proved over and over again as the most fundamental source of human motivation, a life of construction, self-exploration, self-overcoming, a life lived by continuously carrying the ashes to the mountains, a life lived through a continual rebirth, not a life endured, a life lived, not a life tolerated, a life forged, let us look to men of genius for knowledge and perspective, let us not forsake their teaching, let us not devalue men of genius and their ideas on the basis of our own ignorance or inability to tolerate abstraction, be stronger, be more excellent in all things, every second of your life is an opportunity to exert your will, to demonstrate your excellence to the gods, do not disappoint them, do not disappoint the near infinite versions of yourself that are looking down, back, and towards you now, reach higher and look closer than any are willing, never settle, die in battle, do not die in reservation, strive aimlessly if nothing convicts you, if nothing appears before you strive like a living amoeba on a glass slide searching for nutrients, searching for sustenance, do not think yourself superior to the amoeba.
The aim of this website and this ideology is to illuminate, record, document, and analyze a life in action. I myself, whoever I may be, am in the process of alchemicalization, of a self-transformation brought on and carried out by the alignment of my life and its given tasks/duties/actions with the higher order aims of philosophy. This is not a perfect demonstration; it is an attempt to align with higher ideals, not governed by divinities, authorities, or moral dictators. This is a self-imposed journey to become something great.
What tipped me over the edge to make this site was two things: firstly Project Wayne on YouTube. Here is a man, consumed by an ideal, in his case, Bruce Wayne, yes, the fictional character... What struck me most about this channel and this man's aim is his unrelenting striving towards this seemingly ridiculous ideal. At first, you may be tempted to write him off as childish, out of touch with reality, unrealistic, irrational, and so on... but what I see and what I respect in him is his alignment with an ideal, and his acting on that ideal. Not many people are capable of being convicted strongly by an idea, of being seduced by an idea, to the extent of actually remodelling one's life around the pursuit of this idea. The most notable example of a successful demonstration of this is David Goggins. This should be obvious enough, he wanted to embody strength, toughness, mental endurance, etc... and he intentionally, through nothing but his own will, dragged his body and mind through endless, body-breaking pursuits; his aim, his ideal, was so powerful a motivator, that he was able to align his ideals, his principles of discipline and perspicacity with his actions, with his status, with his representation in the world, with this career, with everything that encompasses David Goggins. The second thing that influenced my creation of this website, was a letter that Seneca wrote, a specific part of it where he discussed how learning, growing in philosophy, gaining knowledge, and so on... is only worth it if you are able to share it, teach it, redirect it to other people. I have read Seneca's letters several times over throughout the last few years and this time I decided to finally take action on this.
